is an MICR cheques capturing system which assists banks
automates their inwards and outwards cheques processing
operations. The system captures the MICR codeline, the
cheques’ front and back images, cheques encording,
cheques endoring etc. The system generates inter-banks
clearing files which are sent to the clearing house ad
also generates inwards files which are uploaded to the
banking systems. |

Besides
the above features, the new release of Chequepoint (ver 3.0)
comes with special features like Foreign Currency cheques
processing, stop payments, image statement, Direct Debits,
Electronic Funds Transfer, Signature interfacing, Post Dated
Cheques Processing, Proof of Deposit capture, Enhanced security,
detailed graphical reporting etc.
The above features when combined, makes this new version Full
Image Truncation ready. This is where the central clearing
process is done using images without accompanying physical
cheques.
